Say hello to the new Golf! The VW Golf is exactly what a hatchback is supposed to be. Roomy, Fast, handles well, has room in the back. The current model was released in 2009, so it does seem to be a bit early to already be working on a new one in public. Power train changes are expected in the new model also. Read below..
The current power train is going to be changed(obviously). The 2.5L inline 5-cylinder that isn't the best ever will be replaced by the 1.8L turbo-charged inline 4-cylinder. Very good idea.. The rest of the car has remained a good secret.

This car as we already know is a good car, obviously going to be made better. The problem is though VW didn't let the current one get out and going before replacing it in 2013. To sum it up this is going to be released way to early, good or bad we'll have to wait until 2013.
